Crops & growing times
How crop growth works, what affects the timer, and which crop details still need confirming.
How a crop develops
A crop can pass through a chain of plant stages. The game tracks the time for the current stage and the time for the full chain, then replaces the plant with its next growth stage when that stage is finished.
Reading the time remaining
The remaining-time calculation works from the plant’s growth chain and planting timestamp. Plants that require water also use their first qualifying watering timestamp. There is no single growth time that applies to every crop.
What the crop reference can currently tell you
- Growth happens in timed stages.
- Watering is a per-plant requirement.
- Some plant definitions support repeated harvests.
- Harvest amounts and bonus yields are read from the plant and tool data.
Crop-by-crop values
Seed names, days or minutes to maturity, regrowth times, seasons, purchase prices and sale prices were not recovered from this file set. A profit ranking would be guesswork until those definitions or in-game observations are available.
Wild plants are separate
Blueberries and flowers in the resource guide are identified from world spawning areas. Their presence does not establish a seed, planting season or player-grown crop variant.
